A few discord relationships with other tumblr weirdos but that's it I think. She did drop out of middle school early on so I can't imagine she was able to meet any new people

So a little bit of context for non-medfags. Autistic disorder is a diagnosis from the late 90's, under the group of 'pervasive developmental disorders' (which is what Aspergers syndrome was classified under), that encompasses the classic autism presentation. These are your more severe cases. Zoey herself has said she is a "level 2 autist", which is around moderate severity and struggling to function even with proper supports in place. An autistic disorder diagnosis pretty much lines up with her saying she has level 2 autism. She is correct in saying that this is an outdated diagnosis, in the United States they stopped diagnosing autism under multiple labels many years ago and rolled everything into 'Autism Spectrum Disorder' with different levels of severity. The more you know!
