I don’t disagree, but the fact is that money lost by people who will actively boycott a game over minor gender woo is dwarfed by the amount of money trannies will throw at anything they can consoom, never mind the masses who will either grumble a bit and buy it anyway or outright don’t notice, and I don’t know how you practically fix that. Even with the pendulum swinging against trannies for shit like child surgery, bathtub hormones, and going into bathrooms, the gender selection screen is ultimately so inconsequential to most people and so favors the trans talking points that it’s going to stick around.

Explain Hogwarts Legacy then. The troons all swore that they were never going to buy the game and that it would flop as a result and it ended up being a top seller for months.
