This is insane, abuse-induced delusion if he actually believed that. You have to be medically underweight to have anorexia. She at most has EDNOS, which is just a bad relationship with food (phases of binging, restricting, chewing/spitting, etc). To think she could die?!? Anorexics die mostly in two ways, from starvation-related body failure or heart attacks during recovery. And it happens after years of anorexia, not bursts of restrictive eating. Wtf was she telling him?? I haven't felt bad for him in a long time but she's basically suicide baiting him.

Holy fuck, I don't know how Ian will recover from this.
