In my line of work, I have to do things a certain way and collect evidence within specific boundaries in order for it to be usable in court. That goes doubly so for criminal matters where I have to liaison with the police. People have been taught from a very young age that crime fighters catch the bad guys, and then those bad guys get locked up by thankful police. But in real life, every crook Batman or Superman beat the shit out of and left tied up for sluggish patrolmen to find minutes later would have their cases torn to shreds by any public defender who was even half awake. Same goes for the hacker known as 4Chan doxxing pederasts. If you ignore proper procedure when gathering evidence, that evidence might as well not exist in a court of law."
With as big as the pedohunter (assuming it's the porky bearded guy) in that video seems to have of a following, I would think he skirts more on the legal side of things, especially with him already having the police there, assuming they're real cops and not just people he hired to make a video. But it's a sad reality that most of the vigilante pedohunters who either do it out of genuine concern, desire to hurt people or clout chasing end up actually fucking things up even more with the tactics they employ and letting the pedos escape justice. Good luck telling them though, they won't listen.
