He then uses this to get the approval of those people. When he was around edgy people, he had no problem being edgy, even taking it to another level by dropping n bombs. His content cops were never genuine, just more approval seeking from an edgy audience. When Anisa got her grips on him, he started absorbing her personality traits, becoming the opposite extreme. I think if he was just left to his own devices he would have no personality traits at all.

Anyway, although I never did boxing nor a big fan of it. (It sucks for decades now) I always felt gaslighted, when Sam Hyde and others told Ian has talent for boxing.
The few clip I saw him do boxing he always seemed scared, clumsy and not very talented. He often took his defense down and every opponent of his smacked him instantly.
It was kinda like the Boogie vs WoR fight, where Boogie kept getting punched in the face whenever he tried to punch back.
It seems Ian hates box, exercises and doesn't have that much talent for it and just lazy overall.
