nigger SpaceX is the US governments spaceflight program. I'm sure it wont kill it but it will be set back many, many years if SpaceX dies and China will probably get some chink on mars before we do.
Nationalizing SpaceX would be ideal but its socialist bs that probably wont happen

I hope he doesn't. Declaring you are gonna cancel a entire project like this must require supermajority or something. I would rather not see space exploration be set back decades because of this retard freakout.

There were two other landers up for the HLS contract, from what I remember they went with the Starship because it was the only one they could afford. If NASA got a big budget increase to spite Elon they could probably pivot away from SpaceX. It would just take time.
