The biggest take away from this: Republicans are at fault for this. Johnson made the insane claim that they were working on this bill for 14 months in secret. He refused to give members of the house a chance to read it before it was voted on. Republicans in the senate refused to pass it right away so we started looking how bad it was and a backlash started. All while both chambers are slow rolling DOGE cuts, appointments, and refusing to combat activist judges. If congress had been doing stuff people would let a lot more slip by. By them being lazy and taking more vacation than actually working people hyper focus on it.
Then you add in the back stabbing of the NASA pick which Elon really wanted as spaceflight has a passion for space.
When this is added with other failure of the admin so far. The photo op for Epstein comes to mind. Make a massive deal and then just refuse to release it. The way lower than expected deportations. People didn't expect less than 3k a day when Trump was talking. The heel turn on Ukraine. Now somehow we need to give them more money.
tl;dr people got overhyped on Trump 2.0 and so far it's far less than people had hoped for. If this was term one this would get a A+ rating but after all this shit it's barely a C.
