The contract for the kind of federal pseudo-employee Musk was is limited to 90 days. It can be renewed, as earlier admins have done to avoid confirmation hearings for some assholes they really want to keep around, but the Trump guys always said it wouldn't be renewed. Stunt casting, basically.

Even if he's right, you can't just immediately do a suicide charge at the people on the right bank of the river after burning the bridge to the left bank behind you. Diesel two stroke is as nuke proof as you could possibly get, but it's also like 6 mpg for like 110 HP, and weighs so much that any retrofit would require using a heavy duty frame.
But you could also get rid of your reverse gear, wire a reverse switch on your starter and drive backwards with all X gears your car has because a NA diesel two stroke can run backwards with no changes.

I am not an expert but I have been researching this as of recent out of my own curiosity. Fuel economy is not an issue in a light duty (3/4 to 1 ton) truck when paired with the right transmission; it has been reported that the 4-53t can get mid to high teens in fuel economy, and a 3-53 into the mid 20s. This probably requires an overdrive and a not too deep rear diff ratio, and if using an automatic transmission, a unit with a locking torque converter would also be desirable. Power figures aren't great, but better than 110 for the 4-53t, later revisions of that motor were rated at 170hp/400 ft lb tq which is low but serviceable if you are not a retard and know how to merge properly onto the interstate. The 3-53 makes 70hp and ~200 ft lb tq, which dips into scary territory, but I think it would be really funny to rip around town in one. People have performed these swaps in the past so it is not entirely out of the question, there are at least a dozen examples on youtube. This swap is stupid in terms of practicality, but I think it would be worth it for the sound and comedy factor.

Adding onto this that fuel economy is measured in miles per gallon for both diesel and gasoline vehicles. One gallon of D975 diesel has ~116% the energy per gallon of E10 gasoline, so MPG should be divided by 1.16 for comparison with gasoline or multiplied by 1.16 vice versa to make proper energy efficiency comparisons between engines operating with one of those two fuels.

It's less about question about sweeping it up and more a question about what you want done. What Musk seems to not understand is that in a Republic it's not about who is in charge specifically, its about the coalition of power that is in charge. Trump is "in charge", but he's the avatar of the coalition of power that is actually "in charge". Trying to tilt at the king isn't just a threat to the king, it's a threat to the people in the Kings coalition. And therefore a threat to their goals and ambitions.

Which could be noble, could be not. But whenever someone in the coalition of power decides to break ranks, they better intend to win because unless they have a power base of their own that can convince the rest of the coalition to move towards them, the King will squash them like a bug.

This incidentally is why AOC has been a good little girl since Pelosi threw her chief of staff in prison for "campaign finance irregularities".

I haven't read Rules for Radicals yet but I remember wanting to after watching this vid. Makes me think of all the gay pedos in Germany during the early days of Hitler's rule & how he had to be pressured to do something about it.

The title of the article pretty much explains everything -- T'Challa, the original Black Panther, was challenged by his white son Ketema in combat for failing to be an effective king of Wakanda. T'Challa gained the upper hand initially but Ketema (in a version of the Black Panther costume) refuses to yield and ultimately defeats the original Black Panther T'Challa and thus is declared by the elders to become King of Wakanda.

And who is responsible for writing this lovely comic that subverts black nationalism and we wuz kangz with White-kanda--one of the most famous black comic book writers of all time, Christopher Priest, who was responsible for writing most of the issues for Black Panther Volume 3 (#1–56, 59–62 (Marvel Comics, November 1998 – May 2003, July 2003 – September 2003), which is considered one of the best comics Marvel had to offer and made Black Panther much more likable.

Priest made one of the hardcore Wakandan nationalists T'Challa's adopted white brother in his Black Panther issues. In addition, Priest mocked fans treating Black Panther as a symbol of black American pride since T'Challa is from a foreign nation and made fun of pan-Africanism by writing the Wakandans to be xenophobic against T'Challa's mom for being from the wrong part of Africa.

Christopher Priest is hilarious. In his original Black Panther run, one of the major characters was T'Challa's adopted brother, who was a hardcore Wakandan ultra-nationalist, wet works dude, and also a white man.

He also made fun of people who treated the character as some symbol of black American pride, when T'Challa is from a foreign nation, and isn't even pan-African, because his step mom is treated like shit from being from the 'wrong' part of Africa.

Christopher Priest's rationale for all of this is that he is sick of comic books revolving around race and racism. He despised being forced to write black superheroes because he's black and thus was fed up by Marvel and DC that he temporarily quit the comics book industry. In addition, Priest was also sick of black culture revolving around bashing white people and black nationalists gatekeeping Black Panther and thus decided to keep sabotaging black nationalist beliefs.

Chris Priest left comics for awhile because the only jobs people would assign him were writing black superheroes. He didn't want to be pigeonholed as Black Writer who Writes Black Characters, or rather if he did write for a title about a black character he wanted it to be by his choice.

He had gotten jerked around by publishers more than once, like how DC offered him a new gig writing for the hero Firestorm, and no one told him till he got to the meeting that Firestorm had just been replaced with a black legacy character. Priest was so peeved by this he left and didn't come back to DC until he got a gig writing the Deathstroke title that started in 2016. Said title also featured a character Priest created who was like an evil pastiche of Black Panther: Matthew Bland aka "Red Lion", armor suit-wearing genocidal President-for-Life of the nation of Buredunia. "Red Lion" was also, from what I've heard Priest utilizing some of the ideas he never got to use for his run on BP.

Most people want to read comics or see movies or listen to music they can immediately identify with, and I'm guessing a great majority of people who have never eventried PANTHER have an instinctive notion that they will not be able to identify with the character. But people universally identify with Michael Jordan or Michael Jackson or Muhammad Ali.

The problem with race and popular media is this in most every "black" movie or "black street" music CD you'll see or hear, there is some hostility directed towards whites. Now,were I a white male, I certainly wouldn't want to spend eight bucks to go see a film where white males are portrayed as stupid and the butt of every joke, or where I am made to feel guilty about things I had nothing to do with, and prejudices Idon't actually have.

That is my pet peeve with a lot of black film and black comedians it's all White People Bashing, and it limits our opportunities. In addition to the assumption that PANTHER may be about dusty hungry kids in the desert, or that the lead character may not be someone the reader can identify with, it is possible we are also burdened with the reflexive instinct that PANTHER— by virtue of its being a "black" book— is somehow hostile to whites.
