I will agree that Sgt Evans is an asshole (He is clearly disliked by his colleagues. Their lack of support for him is deafening.) and that on a number of occasions MPD were phenomenally stupid. The agreed facts do not reflect well on them. The whole department requires a meeting without coffee.

The Robinson household do not deserve damages for anything other than the Evans incidents where Evans attended against explicit orders. Patrick inflamed the situation as only he can and Niki enables his behavior to this day.

Ideally, Patrick and Sgt Evans should get 60 days in County for being belligerent and be forced to share a cell for the duration. If Niki is too dumb to use this period to escape, may God have mercy on her soul.

I don't think they could. His case doesn't hinge on whether he really thinks his treatment by the MPD has been that bad. Its still funny to see him tying himself in knots trying to perform WHY US and "everything fine here, stalker" at the same time.

Also question for debate - do you think Rick actually believes funsters are behind the SWATTings? I think its fairly obvious he doesn't believe that at all, but sees it as his best possible angle to get a W over them and doesn't care about dragging people he knows are innocent through the courts to get it.
