There are no gentlemen's agreements in today's mudflinging, shitflinging politics. And, consider, they convicted Ghislaine Maxwell of trafficking child sex slaves to no one, they convicted Sam Bankman-Fried of fraud and embezzlement but conveniently severed and dropped the part of the case where he actually gave that money to prominent Democrat politicians, and now they're trying P Diddler for sex trafficking and racketeering but, again, conveniently not to any of the powerful who were in his orbit.

If they had Epstein stuff to use on Trump, they could use it in a way that doesn't damage the rest of them. They wouldn't have to make up crimes that Trump committed just to put him in prison.

There is VERY LITTLE chance that Elon would be anywhere near politics, much less being a part of the fucking democrat party.

It would be incredibly stupid for the Democrats to have Elon go anywhere near them because of how utterly volatile Elon is as a person and how they need to keep up the "Elon is literally hitler" grift going. If the dems even TRY to get him in, then it would be fucking political suicide. NO ONE will even think about voting ANY democrat in for the next 30 years.

It would be absolutely hillarious if the leftists try to make people forget that they called Elon hitler and then try to bring him into the Democratic party, only to be utterly fucking ravaged in the polls. However, Dems are not COMPLETELY stupid to vote them in.

Then again, anything could happen and if they even do try and consider bringing Elon into the fold, then it would be the most entertaining shit ever.

I can't even imagine the spin they would TRY to do to "reform" his image.

I don't think the left understands that the right welcomed elon into the party,
they never made him the leader or even a ranking member. I imagine it's probably quite foreign to them since they have essentially no tolerance for dissent or nuance whatsoever, but come on this isn't even the first time elon has been dragged by the right this year. They attacked him over the chink worship, the jeet worship, and lying about his video game skills and two of those were within the last 10 months ffs. The right has never agreed with him unconditionally or even done so with trump for that matter.

I also think anybody who genuinely believes elon is going to have a significant chance at usurping the orange king is just lying to themselves.

There's things I hate about Trump but the guy has been at this for 10 years and performed downright miracles. He IS the current right, he invented it from nothing entirely on his own with everything against him. He bet it all on right wing populism when NOBODY else was doing it, he read the room that no other politician would even walk into. The guy stood up against the legal attacks, the entire media apparatus, politicians from across the isle, foreign nations, protests, every buttpounding late night celebrity, he attended thousands of rallies and he got shot crying out fuck.

Elon shit on trannies then jumped on board a couple years ago when it was starting to become undeniably clear that leftists were downright insane. Nobody ever saw him as anything more than a parasite with potential for redemption so please MSM stop acting like people have as shitty memories as you do.

Yeah but with what political capital? Dems will probably tell him "No thanks" since they know it's either going to kill support with their base or get people out just to vote against Elon. He's one of those guys that the more you see him, the more you dislike him. And Elon has certainly made himself seen. The Twitter purchase was the worst thing he could do for his brand.

There was a party in the 1800s that was called the American Party but more commonly called “Know-Nothing” Party. It was known for xenophobia and secrecy. Even if Elon doesn’t adopt the exact platform they will try to frame it as a successor to it especially since most of it merged into the Republican Party.

I am neither Republican nor Democrat. Merely an observation as a Historian.

Sometimes I am truly blessed that I've never let politics take my brain cause these two fighting truly brings no honest reaction to me. I have no response other than, "Well, that's unfortunate but funny to witness."

It's stuff like this when people say politics is just a high ranked subgenre of entertainment. Lefties are getting a hang on this and grifting on it as long as possible and right wingers are getting a hang on this while simultaneously not knowing what to do as they 180 themselves from Elon. It's levels of infighting that overrides infighting.

Reddit got their Piccadilly meal for a while. The right is in scrambles and not knowing what to do. Now I'm going back to my business and wait for this silly feud to worsen.
