My take, which is worth fuck all, is that Trump is sad that elon crashed out because (likely) of drugs. Trump saw his brother Fred fucking die due to that shit, and he probably had flashback those last few days.
Yeah, that's what a lot of people miss on this. Trump is a lot nicer and more measured the people realise, I think he's worried about Musk more than he's mad at him. Musk has to realise that too, he went to being a petty bitch right away, and Trump has been very very restrained. I hope someone that gives a shit about Musk is giving him good advice, but i'm not too sure.

Dont' get me wrong, I'm fine with Trump tearing Musk down piece by piece, but yeah, I think it's better if Musk doesn't crash out, because that nigga might end up offing himself.

It worked extremely well in 2020, Chauvin got convicted with an intimidated jury and the election was stolen.
Biden winning that election is unironically the worst thing that has happened to the Democrats in the last 20 years. The end result was a backlash which saw Donald "Build the Wall" Trump win Latinos as a voting block, and win the popular vote. It also showed everyone that they had absolutely no claim to the "party of normalcy", and we still don't know how long it will take to wash that stink off. They didn't accomplish jack shit legislatively.
They should've just let Trump win 2020, and spent 2023-2024 loudly and repeatedly pointing out how crazy things had been since Obama left office. Instead, they inherited the COVID economy, doubled down on the disastrous shit that was already in place, and turned the federal government into a satanic freakshow headed by a man who could not speak a full sentence.

The national guard in Cali is controlled by Newsom, so good luck.
He's going to have to choose.

defend the protesters and he loses his chance as president, especially if it spirals out of control
defend ICE and he loses California. probably. if it turns red this move may actually earn him some forgiveness

I do enjoy the LA Mayor saying "fuck ICE". And then LAPD saying "fuck protesters" They may not be allowed to directly help ICE doing enforcement but it sure looks like they enjoy cracking skulls of protesters.
LAPD, despite being from a blue city, is still very much a no-nonsense police organization.

Why is Trump being so... "collected" about this whole ordeal? He has said worse to people over far more minor slights.
>"Oh this guy just called me a pedophile, I'm gonna wish him well."
It might be best to be careful with words considering Musk was one of Trump's financial biggest backers in 2024. Burning bridges over Tweets could be an expensive political mistake to make.

Trump is 80 years old, spent a lifetime in a cutthroat business, worked with the media on both sides, ran for president, won, came to terms with how Washington was actually run, fought it, faced a fake pandemic, had an election stolen, was facing prosecutions from fifty fake charges, ran for president a second time, got the incumbent to shid and fard on live tv and quit the race, got shot, and won the presidency again with margins and odds and demographics unthought of.

Getting called a pedo on the Internet by an angry immature ally seems par for the course everything considered

On assimilation:

Chinese only use an English name if there is a lot of business in Hong Kong, where culturally you use an English name in public life. I have found that Taiwanese and Mainlanders use their Chinese name even when working for global companies. The chairman of Evergreen is Chang Yen-I, for example. They will adopt an English name if they work or study abroad, however.

In the old days immigrants mainly came to America to start their own businesses which meant learning English and assimilating. Now immigrants seem to mostly come for gibs, unskilled labor jobs, and a degree to take back home, i.e. little incentive to assimilate.

A few 'non-profits" in Asheville NC are posting the EXACT LOCATION of ICE agents on Facebook every single day.

Not only that, but they are literally sending "scouts" out with cameras to check on "suspicious looking" vehicles that could potentially be ICE.

Legitimately, these people are domestic terrorists and I will not shed a tear when the hammer comes down hard on these people...when it does, if it does.
