To give the asshole some credit, he does do that. The short answer is no that usually isn't enough to stop even moderately sophisticated attacks. See my post above if you want a bit more detail.Also, i read his blog post, and isn't this DDoS entirely avoidable if you start rate-limiting ip's if they get over a certain number of requests per second? Because this type of ddos attack is some 8th grader script kiddie shit. Or maybe i'm completely stupid and that's not how it works?
