What is it with SJWs wanting to be commie tyrants like Pol Pot anyway?

"Anyone who disagrees me is a bad person who should be put down!" Also unrealistic ideologies appeal to them, and a tranny led state would result in more disastrous policies than dictators like Ne Win and Mao can ever dream of.

Reminds me of when the SCP wiki did a massive pride month push back in ~2014, plastering it everywhere, doing a whole in-canon SCP Foundation pride month thing (very cringe). Of course the trannies are like "shut up chuds its just pride month blah blah blah gaslighting here". Now over 10 years later there's just still pride shit on random articles permanently. I don't even understand how it works, I think authors can just do custom CSS, but it's like someone just forgot pride month ever ended.

Once it goes up, it never comes down. That's the lesson from the pride shit. No, it's not one month, it's not even a quarter. Globohomo megacorps hang ultra pride banners like ideological symbols 24/7/365. Pictures of our gay ass town squares are going to be looked back on as some bizarre social aberration, like we're a bunch of sodomite worshipers. Celebrating sticking ones tongue up another man's ass in the street in front of children.

Burgers?
I was there. We need a new Autism+NIGGER internet kultur. ASAP.

How is that illegal?
Quite a few laws have been passed in recent years regarding user privacy and the right to both know when such things are being used, when they are being placed on your system, their purpose and that mandate the user be able to opt out easily. Hence the reason why sites started implementing those cookie notifications the first time you visit a site that talk about authorizing the cookies and whether you want all of whatever they happen to be using on that site or just the necessary ones for the site to function, and a link to info about what they're using it for

What he's doing is illegal because he failed to notify the user a cookie was being placed on their system and essentially forced it, deliberately made it a malicious cookie with no actual purpose other than to give an abusive message to the user, is attempting to track what sites you're using/coming from without your knowledge or consent (this is legally mandated as having to be authorized by the user and is usually done in a legal manner only for marketing research purposes), he failed to provide information about why the site was placing a cookie on the users system and he failed to provide an easy to use mechanism to opt out of having this cookie placed on a users system, doubly so as it has no actual functional purpose

This was done due to privacy and legal concerns regarding companies doing ethically questionable shit, trying to slip malicious cookies into peoples systems for years and a bunch of other shit. In short, you can get into major shit for doing what he did here. Summary termination of hosting, significant fines and potential criminal charges, especially if anything you put on a users system was for malicious purposes, which is clearly is by his own admission. Plus you can get sued by the users that were affected by the violations

It requires Docker, which TCRF doesn’t use, and which I don’t want to have to learn, stand up, and add to an already-exhausting maintenance load
It requires you to use nginx as a reverse proxy to a “web app”; TCRF uses nginx as a web server, not a web app, so there is nowhere to slot it in without standing up even more services
Implementing middleware in nginx is trivial. This retard literally does not understand his software stack if he thinks it requires you to use proxy_pass.

As a live example, one of thousands of the malicious IPs was from “219.142.153.182”. A quick look at ipinfo gives us little reason to be surprised: it originates in China, a common theme for these bots. So, simply take the AS number, “AS4847”, throw it into asn.ipinfo.app, and presto, a blocklist ready to drop into nginx. Do this about 20 times, and the DDoS starts to run out of networks it can abuse you from.

I've gotten word from a contact someone's been successfully using a tool to scrape TCRF and work on their own mediawiki instance. They won't specify much out of fear Xkreeper is going to drive by their IP, but we now have at least two significant "host the info somewhere else" attempts. Anyone else want to kick up a third just for shits and giggles?
Someone managed to get an automated scraper past the filter? Damn well now I feel dumb, lol.

Here's a list of everything I managed to archive locally. Full articles, including all subpages. Unfortunately static images are stuck at the size they were rendered on the page when captured, but all the sound and video files were individually saved (save for a chunk of Half-Life's sounds and that one Pokemon Red/Blue page with over 200 individual screams). None of the pages are currently linked together as I don't know a lick of HTML, but everything should be there. Lemme know if y'all can make use of any of it

Don't feel bad about it. Every now and then he gets snagged by the manual block but he always finds a way. On the other hand, you're scraping it in essentially an undetectable way by comparison; if he tries explicitly banning you for this he'd make it hell for every other user on the site.
