It's not enough for them to "have their own truth", they also have to destroy yours.

A big part of the problem is binary thinking -- if you're not a trans advocate, it means you don't believe in their right to exist, meaning you're participating in genocide, which means your presence is a poisonous influence and must be blocked and suppressed immediately.

I think it's only really weak arguments that feel spoiled by the presence of other thoughts. It's the weakest of speakers that attempt to push anyone else out of the room. Combine this with that little twinge of dopamine when one of these doofuses hits the BAN button and you have the perfect recipe for a dictator.

Edit: I almost found this in retrogametalk.com (formerly CDRomance) they have several pretty cool jannies, but there is a specific few that are making the place insufferable.
Sorry to "powerlevel" not trying to personal army, it's just frustrating to keep losing places to trannies. If these people were cool and didn't make this shit their whole identity it would be fine. I have seen several gay/bi kiwis who are cool as fuck and not all consuming, Shit is driving me nuts

Technically, one already exists in the form of BHDN/Baddest Hacks, but they're not really KiwiFarms-esque. That forum is really is just about romhacking and occasionally shooting the shit, but it's definitely not a pro-tranny place either.
That said, I wouldn't mind another forum entirely for retro vidya slop but without neoliberal faggotry.

There's nothing stopping us from doing a forum with roughly the same layout and forum software as BHDN, but as you said, geared towards old software in general instead of just rom modding.

It really isn't derail as I see it. Although a retrogaming general in the farms already exist, it seldom gets notice or excitement. With all the attention this thread is getting, it's just as well we should talk about retro slop as an in-between respite from the XCreeper insanity (or I guess talk about drama from other retro places that don't have their own farms threads, that works too).

That said: Twisted Metal and Blast Chamber, both very early PSX games, are still a blast to play today. No story in the latter, while the former has story but it's contained to a single blurb in the insert and a paragraph at the end of the game. No ten minute cut scenes, no writers talking about motivation in Kotaku instead of gameplay. What's not to like? :gunt:
