I think that Democrats have convinced themselves that the "undocumented citizen" and "no person is illegal" psyops have succeeded in reaching the majority of the public, so in their minds they think that when people were voting against illegal immigration it was just closing the border. They thought that the millions of people that already showed up already would just be allowed to stay but clearly people are more tired of hearing Spanish than they expected. If Democrats weren't so hell-bent on telling immigrants not to assimilate because it's racist towards them maybe things would be different but a lot of people are seeing a completely different culture and language overtake parts of their city and they don't like it.

This is more correct than people think. Back during the Obama admin, they pushed forward doing a second Reagan era approach of "we'll promise security in exchange for asylum", but the republicans didn't take the bait. They think that we can just do round after round of amnesty once people get uppity, and that will solve the issues. Notice how expedited deportation is at the whim of the executive branch instead of mandatory by law? That's so they can chose not to do it when they want to let people in, then put pressure on keeping those they allowed in to stay.

The bottom line is that this is the consequence of congress' failure to come to an agreeable middle ground on immigration, and instead giving the executive more and more power to implement policies as they see fit, even if it goes against the words and spirit of the actual written law. This is precisely what happens when you try to give all of the power to the executive instead of working it out in congress.

A tactical alert is a formal notification issued by law enforcement agencies, such as the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), to indicate a heightened state of readiness and mobilize personnel for a coordinated response to a potential or ongoing situation that may impact public safety. It’s a step above routine operations and is designed to ensure that law enforcement can effectively address evolving or significant events, such as large-scale protests, civil unrest, or other emergencies requiring increased resources.

Has anyone be collecting the flags at the protests? I've seen these ones so far:
A half Mexico/US flag (the most the USA gets is a half flag for these people I guess)
Mexico (overwhelming majority)
Guatemala
Honduras
Venezuela
Burkina Faso
Palestine

Also Antifa has shown up and you can see them near the IRT media stream.

An ABC7 NEWS reporter just got heckled and harassed by thugs live on air as she reports on the “mostly peaceful” protests in Los Angeles.

Are you sure that's not typical LA behavior when shit pops off? I can tell she was nervous, but she still did her job. Respect.

Unlimited immigration was a winning position when it was just the Southwest getting beaner bombed. News was only on the TV so it could just be played off as racist redneck hillbillies being stupid and racist towards poor migrants/refugees fleeing crime and wanting a better life. Now everybody else gets to see what we've been dealing with for the past half century with the recent wave that Biden let in since the Internet liberalized information flow and now it's everybody getting flooded with illegal aliens.
As someone who spent most of the last decade in a sanctuary city got the real on the grounds look of 100% support of unlimited immigration take a nose dive the second they started hitting our area with immigrants. From the Black community going shiiet where our gibs money? As they ran the deficit through the roof building camps and putting them up in hotels to the suburban not in my back yard liberal white women in the suburbs slowly shifting. It's really fucking easy to support something that pitched as altruistic and noble when it has no negative impact on your life.

I was there supporting a close family member who passed and while that was awful I am thankful to be nowhere near a sanctuary city and those politics anymore. Still it was very funny to watch the DNC go from let them in to reduced let them in to alright secure the borders but amnesty to finally ok just a little amnesty?

You wouldn't know it with the astroturfing but we are winning boys, call your state rep, send them an email, thank them for this. Believe it or not these things do matter, certainly more then posting on social media about it.

What agreeable middle ground? Most Americans want them out. There’s no middle ground. We’re not allowing joint custody or visitation rights here. If you enter the U.S. illegally, you are banned from entering.
