I don't really understand the argument that calling in the national guard is "escalatory" in nature by President Trump.

If the local authorities and state authorities deliberately and continuously refuse to enforce the law what other options do we have? Karen Bass, Gavin Newsome asked for this, not Donald Trump.

Tom Cotton was right to call for this in 2020. The same applies today.

This is unironically a good strategy. Let the protesters burn themselves out, in the sun. By the time the sun goes down, they will be tired, kind of like letting a kid run around before bedtime.

We haven't had good riot footage since covid and that was a on the light side. I'm pretty hype for this. Only thing that sucks is the time difference. Shit doesn't usually pop-off until night time.
Looking forward to the clips and memes.

Getting deported is more of a threat than getting shot by the police. So the emotional response can get intense. Shitlibs are willing to look away like they did during George Floyd and will call this a "peaceful protest" for a bit allowing for
protesters and organizers more time to do damage.

We are heading into a perfect storm.

It's actually crazy how much the third world relies on remittances (essentially theft, literally removes money from the economy of origin). I think like a quarter of the central american GDP is remittances. They should literally be banned, taxation isn't enough, people would actually stop coming to first world nations if they were. Considering most of these people take massive debts to get to the US I don't understand why they don't improve their situation at home instead with money that would be a kingmaker.
