Because then we're not just losing a market for the shit we produce and a consumer for what they produce (A huge amount of the Texan economy depends on sending shit to Mexico and getting shit back), but with a blockade, now you're getting the Euros which also get a lot of shit from Mexico and the Chinese which ship a lot of shit to Mexico mad.
