Didn't the AH office have a whiteboard with "FUCK TRUMP (DO NOT ERASE THIS MESSAGE UNTIL 2020" on it?
Yeah it did.
Jack did a vital role, he ran the audio and he did a great job at it. You can really tell when whey went into the lock down and when they came back, the quality never returned.

Be what of his personality or if you liked him or not, but the man did keep that audio clean (which is hard!).
Too bad they hired Ky and all that great audio went to shit with her sheboon screeching.

Yeah it did.

She was hired after the Audio went to shit and that seemed like what took it over the line for a lot of people complaining. While AH argued with the community they scream and shouted in their current videos as much as the old, they never took the time to verify the end products.

A lot of audio editing used to be done, boring conversations in audio tracks where brought down low while the fun entertaining focus of the video was brought up, kind of like.... normal TV / Movie audio?

When they returned after the lock down and the Ryan booting out, they didn't record the audio on multiple tracks and didn't spend time doing any post production.

Jack provided a real technical production role to their product and maybe they just took what he did for advantage and never knew he did actual work.

Its real sadness how every one turned out.

Jack was only good as a punching bag. Ryan actually had good stories. Jack just seethed about shit or made pop culture references.
The only time Jack wasn't the butt of the joke was when he could jump onto an already existing dog pile (almost always on Gavin) and even then he was weak.

If he was playing a straight up announcer, he did all right. I liked that Crazy Taxi video they did in GTA 5 where he just improvises a Cash Cab game and it's actually entertaining, mostly because of the others struggling to answer his questions which weren't that difficult. A shame they didn't do something like that again, maybe had everyone bullying a driver while they tried to answer Jack's questions and whoever had the most points before their car got destroyed won.

But yeah, aside from that, Jack was at his best when he was the butt of the joke, something he hated.

Pyrocynical and Lindsay Jon... I mean Jax.

I do wonder how fucked the AH management was compared to FH. I was rewatching this GTA 5 race and around the 4:00 minute mark Geoff makes a joke to Jack on how someone in the chat commented:"Jack don't you like the FHTV idea?" and Jack looks defeated. He apparently had a similar idea for the previous 3 years, but never managed to actualize it, and Geoff replies by how Funhaus just up and did it, with Bruce doubling down on how actually stupid and braindead easy was to do it.

Any Burnie & Rebooted RT news?
He had an interview recently. Most of it is reminiscing but:
  • at 36:57 interviewer asks "How did it happen", Burnie kinda goes back to reminiscing and talking about his feelings and why he wanted the company back. Says RVB was the main reason but he also wants anything he was personally involved in so he wanted pretty much the whole thing back minus sub brands like Achievement Hunter.
  • 42:10 1 classic show will return, most content will be new shows
  • 1:04:39 Look forward not behind
  • 1:07:50 in particular pissed me off because Burnie genuinely does not seem to understand that one of the killing blows to RT was the insane amount of bloat on their website and YouTube channel where every fucking person working there had their own boring ass show
My take away is the revival won't be good

I think that probably had a lot to do with how nobody liked Jack tbh.

Jesus Christ, Burnie looks like shit. Also, I can't believe he bought RT back just so he could continue doing the same shit that killed it the first time.

so not only does he want to bring in even more bloat but he doesn't even want to keep some legacy stuff even as a passive income source for old fans? that's just dumb, does he really not know what made RT fun?

Burnie hated RT for years before he left. I honestly cannot think of why he would come back and it's not like any of the guys he started the first RT with would willingly come back to it, except for maybe Hack because that dude has no life.

More bloat and more of the content that viewers hated, complained about, and then stopped watching. Burnie really watched RT bleed money and then die and thought to himself "the problem was we weren't chasing TikTok trends enough."

Probably because he left with big plans to become a Hollywood writer but was met with crickets and a lot of "Reach out to my assistant and we'll see if something happens." On realization his much promised new career was a stillbirth he decided to retreat back to the one thing that made him relevant once upon a time.

I wonder what drugs he took when he saw the shitpile that RT became and thought "Hey, I can fix it". Like dude, it was dying when he was still apart of the fucking thing.
