ORIGINAL REPORT:
A shooting unfolded late Sunday night along the Las Vegas Strip, near the iconic Bellagio fountains, and was captured in real time on a livestream by a YouTuber.
The incident occurred just before 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time and has prompted an active investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). At least one person has reportedly been shot.
According to eyewitnesses and footage from a livestream, a YouTuber known as Finny Da Legend was broadcasting his walk along the Strip near the Bellagio fountains while accompanied by a woman.
During the stream, another individual—believed to be a fellow YouTuber who goes by SinCity-MannyWise or is affiliated with the Sin City Family channel—briefly appeared in the background before returning moments later and engaging in a heated confrontation with the woman.
Seconds later, the man could be seen pulling out a handgun and firing multiple shots off-screen.
The livestream recorded at least seven gunshots as bystanders screamed and fled for safety.
The woman accompanying the streamer appeared to grab the camera during the chaos and may have fallen to the ground. It is currently unclear if she was among the victims.
Witnesses on scene reported that at least one person had been struck by gunfire.
Some social media users later claimed a second person may have been injured, though authorities have not yet confirmed the number or identity of the victims.
The Bellagio Hotel & Casino was evacuated shortly after the incident as a precaution, though police have confirmed that the shooting did not take place inside any casino facility.
LVMPD released the following statement shortly after the shooting:
“We are responding to a shooting in the 3600 block of S. Las Vegas Boulevard. The shooting did not occur inside a casino. Please avoid the area.”
A significant law enforcement presence responded to the scene, with multiple patrol units and emergency responders seen surrounding the area.
As of this writing, no arrests have been publicly confirmed, and the identity of the suspected shooter has not been officially released.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information or relevant footage is encouraged to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The condition of the victims has not yet been disclosed. Further updates will be provided as more details become available.
