Hey if some1 could lend me a hand, one day my steam just up and not let me login/connect to the Internet at all despite me being able to use the Internet just fine like going on YT or something. So I totally uninstalled it and went to redownload Steam but I cant even open Steam anything neither through my Brave browser nor my DuckDuckGo. I cant find any Steam support stuff and i even asked Leo AI and im desperately out of options. Please if any1 knows anything about these issues. And sorry if this is not the right channel to ask this I couldnt find any help board proper

Hello, I don't think i was permabanned because I could actually login through my browser on my phone. I'll check the 2-factor thing but I haven't ever changed my password or opt-in for the 2 factor thing. I'll take some pictures in a moment hopefully

What log in error are you getting? Are you positive you're using the correct email and password? Are you banned? Is your internet dropping connection for extremely short amounts of time and stalling the log in? Are you using 2 factor and forgot? Is it emailing you a code?

Here's the picture, left is me trying to open Steam through Brave (same happens for DuckDuckGo) and I can access anything else like the forum just fine. I can't even re-download steam because I can't even use the browser. And how do I check DNS? Idk if Steam can ban you through your device or something but I've not done anything abrasive I don't think and I never got any emails from them about anything like that

ipv4 might be out, search network connections in your start browser and and then click your wifi or whatever is connected.

I have, and I checked out the ipv4 thing and no dice it said it was connected.
If I had to guess then its probably because your on a laptop and gabe newell specifically is punishing you for your crimes of faggotry and for not buying a steam deck
There's nothing that separates PCfags from console niggers. You're both rooted in the ground but I can take my baby with me anytime anywhere, this is just a rare L😓

Have you tried rebooting your router? I know this sounds like a jeet reply but who knows, sometimes it's a random thing like that.
I don't think it's a Steam ban, they would have sent you a warning both in the application and by e-mail.
They don't always send the email. This could be something else but it sounds exactly like when I got banned without notice for calling a troon dev a troon in my steam review of their shitty game.

Open the command prompt and run " tracert store.steampowered.com ", post results.

I doubt it would be a ban because that would be OSI layer 7. Connection timeouts are usually layer 3 or 4, depending on how the timeouts are happening.

This smells like a DNS problem, so try this:
Open command prompt and type nslookup store.steampowered.com to at least check that it spits an IP address back at you. We are looking for an IP that doesn't start with 192, 10, or 172.
