It may seem like the obvious thing to do, but like it or not we would have to contend with the immediate effect that a huge chunk of the country would believe the fascist dictatorship had come for real and flip the fuck out. They need to do something but they need to play it VERY carefully and marching in guns blazing and arresting local leaders ain’t it. Not yet. And remember, Trump isn’t the be-all and end-all. He has advisors in his ear and I imagine they’re urging extreme caution.
