Not sure on the specific rounds used but iirc common training for many of them is to employ them around 10-30m range, closer and they begin imposing injury risk and the person is too close anyway, farther and they lose too much energy. There are extended range designs meant for 30-50m ranges but those tend to be designs that are essential kevlar beanbags filled with shot instead of the lighter foam rounds.

Even the morning zoo crew radio hosts where I am were talking about how this shit would not fly if a bunch of Americans showed up burning cars and throwing rocks at cops in Mexico City while flying American flags. This isn't a morning show that usually even touches politics. The optics of these riots are radioactive and Democrats can't help lining up to be counted for the cause.

Serves the Dems right. They spent the last five years declaring that Christians, gun owners, white people, and anyone who criticizes the (Dem-led) government as an enemy of the state. Journorats even decried the "Let's Go Brandon" meme as "insurrectionist".

Fuck 'em. I voted for Trump to make all their nightmares come true.
