I’ve personally heard from a lot of people worried that they’re going to be asked to show documents because they’re a legal immigrant, or from Puerto Rico and so on. They all think they’re going to be fucking disappeared because they speak Spanish. They’re afraid of even being asked. How many of them have actually been confronted? None, of course.
