Trump isn't doing anything wrong, if you have a problem with Trump you have a problem with all of the law and precedent that allows him to do what he wants as President, which is all he has ever done. This is why he wasn't ever prosecuted by anyone competent, and those who have destroy themselves and that destruction has precedent.

Ambrose Burnside and "Fighting" Joe Hooker are good choices for "Worst General in US Military History" Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville were battles that a toddler could have won for the Union, outnumbering the rebels 2:1, that got turned into total routs.

Hooker's issue was leaning too much into MUH NEW TECHNOLOGY!!! without a redundant back-up.
Had the communication devices worked as advertised, Chancellorsville would have been the end of the Confederacy right then and there. Had they even had couriers ready to move, they could have still effectively maneuvered.
Instead the Union just sat there doing nothing and let Stonewall defeat-in-detail.
