It's "just property" is convenient because most of these fucking retards live in places where if this kind of civil unrest happens, then we have way bigger problems already and it's moot. "It's just property" is fine until its their Prius with spraypaint all over it.

Yeah, they learned that sitting idly by and letting the cities burn in 2020 and hoping that common sense and outrage would win everyone over doesn't really work out so well. The new playbook is use just enough force to quell riots and maintain order, but give them just enough rope to hang themselves ie document the looting, riot gear being handed out, wheelbarrows of concrete being brought in, launching fireworks at police. They're learning that public perception has changed some (for now) and right now it is ok to punch back with a measured amount of force.
