I'm starting to think I'm better off reading a book than continuing browsing this god forsaken website. It just hit me that this is all shit I've heard before from social care workers, particularly those working with broken households. Mental disorders, alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, physical abuse... it all is amusing, up until children, pets and others incapable of escaping such circumstances get involved, through no fault of their own.

In a few months time, we're supposedly should receive news of Chris Chan becoming the father. I believe I'm better off not knowing the details of how that goes... I already know how these stories end and it's gonna stop being funny very soon.

May the lord protect this doomed fucking baby. Her head's gonna be as flat as Becky Gerber's kid. I wonder if Kayla will even buy her toys in lieu of continuing to acquire anime figurines for her hoard. Certainly she won't love her as much as Astarion and Jaheira. I know she didn't literally exit Kayla's cursed loins but you would think she would feel at least some measure of joy and tenderness for her own fucking child.

My child also had jaundice/bilirubin issues after birth, but was kept in the room in a light box. "Understimulated" is incredibly wild to me. I couldn't keep my eyes off him and was basically pressing my face up to the glass, utterly fascinated watching him wiggle in there. She said they've all been home for a few days now ( ? ), and doctor's orders would have been to keep baby by a window to get some (not direct) sunlight because it basically does the same as the light box did.

Hold your goddamn newborn and go outside. Sit on the porch, bench, whatever with YOUR CHILD in your arms. Get the skinship going, it's an extremely important part of bonding with YOUR BABY. It's familiar with your wife's heartbeat, but not yours.

oh my god, she said understimulated when she just had a child i have to walk away

It's a lesbian couple that had been, until very recently, been larping as a gay man couple. Kayla's previous blog was called "fagcrush". She's only recently admitted to being a lesbian, but still calls her legal spouse (the actual pooner and birth parent) "hubby".

Iirc it was a chemical miscarriage, so super early on. And arguably a good bit less tragic than a miscarriage that happens further along in the pregnancy.

For being an 10 year old thread she can remarkably be summed up exactly the same because she never, ever grew up or changed. She's epitomizes your classic Tumblrina - has neopronouns, pretends to be fictional characters, has crushes on fictional characters, will literally shake and cry if anything remotely inconvenient happens to her, like calling her annoying. She will spend a whole day posting up a storm about how offensive the word annoying is. Really.

She wasn't actually of all that interest herself at first, she came to the forums to defend the much more disturbing but inactive cow Springtrapp under the name Stray Sheep (Kayla had a fixation on the atlus game Catherine at the time). At that span of time, she was in a relationship with Springtrapp and HER then-minor partner in a polycule, with Kayla as the long distance partner. It's important to mention this, because it was during this span of time that she listened to Springy fuck their then-minor girlfriend over a Skype call, with the third-wheeling Kayla pretending to be asleep while listening in. (Springy and the partner lived in Florida where the age of consent can be flexed a little bit.) They broke up at some point and now Kayla stalks her problematic ex now and then.

If you were curious, Springtrapp has been long under the radar for a long time. Kayla still keeps tabs on and harrasses them when feeling bored and spiteful. While that whole polycule (she's still in that same relationship with the other partner, and is with another completely different person now too) is gross for being very into anime children, they a low profile and don't get into interesting drama anymore. Feel free to look into them if you want, but they're generic dark fiction enjoyers who get sexually excited by murderous video game villains and shotas. The drama on that side is petty and a constant back and forth over fiction being wrong or not, and you have the Proship-Anti threads in Community Watch for that.

I think her point of interest is in just how much she refuses to change or problem solve for herself. She goes into several communities, from roleplay to self-ship (people who want to kiss fictional characters) and run into the same brickwall everywhere: that she's a vibe-killer, overshares, is in need of ridiculous amounts of validation, and will jab fingers at everyone else for being even a little problematic or more popular than she is. Her now-wife has been with her through thick and thin and is pretty much the only person capable of tolerating her presence. Just before the childbirth, she was having a several week long mental breakdown over how she has so much trouble imagining Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3 kissing her custom character, and how no one will help her imagine them kissing.

She is the cow I keep coming back to this site for, because every once in a while I'll see a very silly spat on Twitter and get reminded of her and want to see how she's doing. For ten years, she has been an amazing and constant relic of the past. It's such a shame a lot of the early thread has broken images and links because KF was not that prudent about good archiving back then.
