I do find it kind of funny that none of America's military losses are actual defeats through force or military strategy, but just the US accheiving their goals but then staying too long, then politicians saying "mkay sonny time to come home" and the military just... leaving as the thing they set up crumbles under Mudslimes or Communists.
Even Vietnam, the thing that the whole world likes to rub in Americas face as being "defeated by farmers with AKs", was nothing but US victories the entire time it went on. The US pushed the VietCongs shit in in nearly every engagement, the Tet Offensive failed, the Cong signed a peace treaty so the US removed most of their troops and military apparatus, then the Cong broke the treaty and the US basically just said "okay fuck it" and left after 2 years because people didn't support the war anymore and most of the military was already gone.
