You guys have to understand that this area is pretty much what the whole riot is.
When it went to Little Tokyo yesterday it was just a couple streets south.
When people think of LA are they really thinking of like...5x5 blocks?
This isn't a massive protest.
I have personally seen DHS set up in City hall's boundaries, because there are actually underground access points for them in this area.

Notice how basically all of them are all of a sudden deathly silent, it's the realization that they are actually going to face consequences for their actions and all they can feel is pure dread.
