Realistically I think it'll be unconfirmed third hand rumors that Nick is verbally abusive or has at least shoved/pulled/etc Kayla in a public enough place someone said something.

I doubt Nick hits her, but he sure seems shaken up about it enough to mean someone definitely investigated whether he had in the past.

Either way, watching him get so defensive and spiral is funny.

The speculation is that Kayla threw something at Nick after the cokestream, cos Aaron said she had done such things before. Is Nick's current explanation that he took a line of ketamine by mistake and passed out, hitting a counter top?

Nick tells on himself. "I don't do that" is very different from "I've never done that". It leaves it open for him to be shown to have done it once and for him to then say he didn't lie.

The timing is going to be interesting. I'm starting to think the reason why Nick was so desperate to know when Keanu last spoke to April is because this happened the backend of last year, when Nick and April seemed to be under the influence, but after Keanu snaked April. So perhaps April knew and Nick was trying to figure out if Keanu also knew.

wasn't his original story that he went to go check on her when he took a break and she accidentally hit him when she got spooked or something? you either believe -that- lie was to cover up his drug use before it was known or -this- lie to cover up the abuse after the drug use is exposed.
