So many revelations:

Let's be clear. There have been at least 2-3 CPS REPORTS and one investigation that we know of.

1. Years ago, they sent back a foster child when Kayla was pregnant and sick. That report seems to simply be a bureaucratic thing.
2. In August 2023, February 2023 a dance instructor reported two hungry children.
3. Per Nick, the nanny (and maybe the chiropractor or a worker there) reported a hungry child and/or violence to a child
4. May 23, 2024 - Oct/Nov. 2024 Mandatory CPS investigation due to the drugs in the home with the kids. It's entirely unclear if this case has been truly closed by CPS.

(Numbers 3 and 4 may be part of the same investigation.)

Think of Tyler Durden relating his dad's advice "i don't know, get a job... i don't know, get married" ...this couple did what they think they should, and to their limited credit they get the kids to piano or whatever activities, but they don't know how to actually PARENT. They don't know how to lead by example, how to model moral behavior for their children.

They surely feel the stress of five children and (being charitable) go through the motions to get the kids exposure to activities, but honestly if you have only learned how to mistreat women or accept mistreatment, and learned how to avoid any responsibility by playing word games, and learned to submerge your stresses into chemical addictions, I REALLY DONT GIVE A FUCK IF YOU CAN PLAY PIANO.

(Anytime I hear someone talk about their child as a “mini me,” a chill goes down my spine.) But as soon as the child begins to individuate — especially by talking — the bloom is off the rose and they move on, often having another baby to satisfy their needs. That’s why so many narcissists have such large families: They’re breeding their own narcissistic supply.

I have said this before but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that shit went off the rails with Nick and Kayla as soon as their youngest was no longer a baby. The fresh supply ran out and one or both of them needed something to fill the hole (and their holes).

TL;DR The kids would be better off if Nick was dead and it would be no great loss to them if he took Kayla with him.

If he had, I think that he would have gone straight to the cops with it. Or that someone else who was closer to this supposed footage would have done so, closer to the time when it (allegedly) happened.
Unless the statute of limitations has expired, and this sort of public exposure is the best that they can get now.

I'm not sure if this is saying that it applies to any assault, or only assaults resulting in personal injury. I think it would count as domestic abuse, though. But I'm not a lawyer, and also it's really late for me, so I could be misreading this or just looking at the wrong section entirely.
Better minds than myself should probably look into it.
