This may be a kind of "out there" theory. I think Salad drive Foodie out to the desert, dug a hole, and buried her in sand up to her neck. in the states that is standard when arrested. a basic profile is skin color, height, weight, hair color and eye color. you generally are fingerprinted and identifying markings are recorded, scars and tattoos.

I doubt they’d have a scale that goes high enough to weigh her accurately if we were ever so lucky.

The US embassy in Kuwait is evacuating non-essential staff and family members of embassy employees. Only mentioning this because there's a non-zero chance of Chantal adding "being in an active warzone" to her list of troubles.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States is drawing down the presence of staffers who are not deemed essential to operations in the Middle East and their loved ones due to the potential for regional unrest, the State Department and military said Wednesday.

The State Department said it has ordered the departure of all nonessential personnel from the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad based on its latest review and a commitment “to keeping Americans safe, both at home and abroad.” The embassy already had been on limited staffing, and the order will not affect a large number of personnel.

The department, however, also is authorizing the departure of nonessential personnel and family members from Bahrain and Kuwait. That gives them the option of leaving those countries at government expense and with government assistance.

I doubt Chins will go to prison though. (Do they even have a female prison there? I thought the men in the family took care of this.) She’ll get detained-probably not in jail, they’ll just pull her passport. When she’s racked up a bunch of fines for overstaying, she’ll be deported and poor Smee is going to have to come up with cash. Worse will happen to Salah, which she won’t care about.

I hope the next few weeks don’t fizzle out but I recognize that it could.

Chins is on a tourist visa and can be easily sent back to Canada (there is no way they want to wrangle a 400 lb beast into one of their jails). If she's already in Canada (which is the direction I'm leaning in right now), they can simply deny her reentry into Kuwait. I think Shitlah is in bigger trouble because of the Kaibella incident. He could be either jailed or shipped back to Syria.

Who knew that the simple act of picking a stray cat up off the street would have such a domino effect.

Canada is an ally to Kuwait, I guess, and they probably won’t want to make a case attracting a lot of media attention. She is a tourist, and will likely put her on the next plane leaving the country. Any fines or jail time will be dismissed as long as she does not show up at the border again. I am not sure if Middle East countries share information but she might be banned entering these countries too. This Kuwaiti arc is done.
