Trump is just being normal, Trump can't go infront of the press and declare TCD like some people want. Trump is currently negotiating trade/tariffs with China, he has to atleast show some positivity towards the Chinese. It is a basic Trump tactic, Trump is willing to "humble" himself to get what he wants, just like how he personally prepares a seat for a foreign leader. The US isn't China where someones reputation is more important than their own wellbeing and countries prosperity. Western virtues about being humble and what not.

tl;dr The situation is a repeat of the event seen below:

"Trump is Israel's bitch"

I'm pretty sure if literally any location in the US was bombed, it'd be headline news, so we'll see if anything's reported in the coming minutes. Don't see anything on twitter yet.
"Firebombed" could mean Molotov cocktails and the government sometimes outsources paperwork to contractors. Not to mention that MSM is still saying "fun party atmosphere" about riots with cars and buildings literally burning live behind them.

my grandkids pay like $10 a quart to pick their own blueberries at the bogie u-pick.
Yeah because that's fun, they aren't doing it for 14 hours a day under the hot sun while their fingers bleed

Like I said, I don't want to share too much, so I understand if people don't believe me. Just suggest people keep an eye out. All I can add is that it's still a currently active investigation and outside the area of the riots, so likely won't end up as front page news.

Thanks for posting this. I was going to say but don't know enough about it...I was pretty sure machines like these are replacing a lot of farmhands and that this is the norm now not the exception. So the whole "farm argument" seems weird, although farms do report being unable to fill the jobs they have. My bet is a lot of those jobs are high-tech repair or becoming so.

Industrialization fucking rules. The only berry this really applies to is mulberries, which are notoriously tender to the point of them becoming impossible to harvest and get to market fresh which blows because it's the best fruit ever. I've only eaten them straight from the trees.

Or, more people realizing that the average citizen isn't going out in the fields to pick crops
This is bullshit. Lots of young men in this country would be perfectly happy harvesting crops. Provided they got paid enough to buy their pick up truck, take their girl to a nice dinner, buy some beer and eventually get a house to put the girl in and raise children.

But that is not the economy we have. Because the economy we have is still reliant on slave labor.

Again I reminded of my autistic obsession with the song "battle cry of freedom". There is a very powerful line it.

"We will welcome to our ranks, all the loyal true and brave. Shouting the battle cry of freedom! And although he may be poor, not a man shall be a slave. Shouting the battle cry of Freedom! The Union forever, hurrah boys hurrah! Down with the traitor and up with the star! As we rally 'round the flag boys, rally once again, Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
