The conspiratorial angle you're implying doesn't scan with the fact that there are straightforward, 'conventional' and mostly complete strategic reasons to destabilize Arab socialist governments and replace them with higher performing, less murderous ones, besides ensuring the security of Israel. Securing the world's oil supply and major waterways in the Indian Ocean, nearby seas and gulfs, and the Eastern Mediterranean are more motivating than whatever shit the Israelis could offer.
