2025 Israel vs Iran War

High effort drive-by contribution to the thread of spergery

I guess the argument against this would be that by propping up Israel defensively it allows them to invest offensively, meaning they can strike out in situations where otherwise diplomacy would have been preferred, thereby prolonging and escalating hostility and as a result that is actually causing more civilian deaths.
I mean it's a real argument (which I disagree with) but it's better than "mUH free aid" spam.

To push back I'll say if the usa didn't provide the money for these rockets then the israelis would just find another source to get the money, maybe pay the chinese in advance avionics for tons of rockets?

I don't care personally because I'm not an American and as far I'm concerned the US can fund whatever or whoever it wants, but I could see that being the argument.
It's an argument. and frankly the amount the USA spends is a drop in a bucket compared to the various other armies in the region and around the world we directly fund. Hell we pay the salaries of the Lebanese armed soldiers and they don't do shit.

@Historical Strelkov I gave it a read and it just says the USA funds Israelis DEFENSIVE capabilities (anti rocket systems, iron dome etc). I see nothing about the USA giving Israel bombs and airplanes for free.

Look if you want to be against that, then I think that's stupid because all you are causing is more civilian deaths. But whatever, I'm still right.
The FMF covers everything from Precision guided munitions to helicopters to Namer APC engines.
Sure Rafael does stuff, and sells stuff, and Israel even spends its own money on things.

Like this is pure nonsense. America has 0 interests in this region. The middle east has nothing to do with American domestic issues compared to Israel which has 100 percent interest in this region.
Israel has never really done anything in return, and never will because we are not jews, so who cares about us.
Blowing up Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran is self-interest.
Any "terrorist attack" like the barracks bombing in 1982 was still helpful for Israel's self-interest
It's like you can't admit that Israel is just doing this all out of self-interest, from the money to the military the "allyship" is self-interest.
Israel isn't going to help America outside of the middle east lol.
And thats the reason why jews get a bad rap. Because we're just a bunch of shmucks easily taken for a ride, and that in all honestly is actually a cycle of history issue.

3 v 1 wasn't it?
On paper it was like 7 v 1, in practice 2 v 1.
Morocco, Algeria Iraq and one of the other Arab countries allegedly jumped in and contributed some borderline meaningless quantity of troops. The Syrian and Egyptian armies were the real main fighting forces assaulting Israel, and the main sources of both command and logistical backing.
Some communist countries threw in troops to help the arabs too, but nothing significant.

Jordan threw its weight in late in the game, after Syria and Egypt had mostly been bloodied as a means of trying to force Israel to negotiate rather than go double-or-nothing for bigger gains against Syria and Egypt. Jordan also allegedly gave Israel warning that the Syrians were prepping for another chimpout beforehand, so the game the Jordanians playing was a very complicated one.

The three big ones were Syria, Egypt and Jordan though.

EDIT: Wait the 1973 war or the 1967 war?
Six-day War was 1967 and was Israel vs Egypt, Syria, Jordan, with minor players Iraq & Lebanon
Yom Kippor War was 1973 and was what I described above.

Twitter removed aftermath pictures and videos of rocket hitting Israel. AI videos are being left alone. If pictures or videos are censored. They are probably real.
No it's because any video can be use to help re calibrate rocket attacks and allow the iranians do battle assessments. Do you really think the Israeli navy commander ISN'T in the massive nuclear bomb shelter with bibi and the rest? Get fucking real.

This is a fair argument tbh. Israel definitely strikes me as being able to source technology and equipment on its own, where there's a will there's a way.

And I didn't know about the Lebanese soldiers, the more you know haha.

Thanks for the answer!

We are in the middle east because asia (japan and korea) get their energy from middle eastern oil. We are also in the middle east because if you are in the middle east you are in the middle of major trade routes. Also Israel has done a fuck ton for the usa and has paid back in intel and being the usa's triggermen (because Congress banned the cia from doing targeted assassinations like how they use to do in 1960s). Please stop repeating what you read on 4chan it's beyond dumb, simplistic and wrong.

Nigga please. Israel were denying Hamas pulled out of an attack with motor gliders at first. Stop pretending Israel doesn’t have a history of cockiness that backfires. It’s something Israel and India has in common funny enough. India only now admitting losing all those French fighter jets.

This is why genetics-based racisism is retarded and cultural supremacy is the real redpill.
"Jews aren't white but Iranians are because uh I like them pre Ayatollah and so they must be genetically white. Only genetically "white" people are cool. Slavs? Not white. Poles? Not white. Irish? Used to not be white but we like them now, so they're white too, yeah. What? 20 IQ, sister-fucking Cletus? We don't talk about that."
White just means "holds Western cultural, ethical and moral values that I approve of" when you're calling fucking Persians white lmao. Which I don't even disapprove of, I just don't understand why racists are so hellbent on creating a directly proportional relationship between race and culture (even though of course they typically inform one another.)
I'd take 100 black men raised in white neighbourhoods vs one white man raised in the "hood."
Most of the so-called glorious white race is at any given moment, in the back of a stolen Buick, high on meth or fent, or attempting to impregnate everything from the lowly cantalope to the lofty and ill-defined organism.

where there is a will there's a way is very true but Israel routinely punches above it's weight class. It just doesn't have the industrial capacity to produce things at scale. So often Israel will invent or improve on the thing and then sell it to the usa/us defense firms who will make it to scale

And I didn't know about the Lebanese soldiers, the more you know haha.

anytime! Far arguments are worth debating but it's worth to have the proper facts.

Also Israel is able to pay itself.

@Historical Strelkov
Are you fucking retarded? Serious question.

This entire situation can be boiled down their being no other option because a country says they want to remove you from the planet, has taken previous steps to do it (I.E proxy wars), and is capable of having nuclear bombs in the next 1-5 years refuses to negoiate with anyone.
Iran is a walking human rights violation just by themselves, let alone trying to get nukes.
I'd have more symphony for fucking North Korea.

At some point, you just have kill the guy trying to kill you and I doubt they'll even do that.
Why isn't North Korea being attacked and awaiting upcoming invasion? Even though their rhetoric is at times much more extreme than what's coming out of Iran?
Why shouldn't Iran be allowed to have nuclear weapon capabilities? A ton of other sketchy nations have them.
It's kind of a rhetorical question though, since it's all about Israel wanting to be able to do whatever they want to in the Middle East, without the threat of mutually assured destruction.

okay can someone tl;dr the entire thread, is iran doomed
Actual serious reply: they're fucked. No real air defense network remaining, and their only play is launching ballistic missiles and drones, which have been mostly ineffectual. Israel is bombing them with virtual impunity and is likely to continue until Iran cries uncle.

Moreover, it clouds your perception and makes you think that the Israelis are somehow way more reliant on US military support than they actually are.
I was shared this article not too long ago by @Catch The Rainbow regarding Israeli aid from the US and how some Jews want to stop it. Some Israeli's see it as a crutch that they'd be better off not being dependent on and, rather ironically considering some sentiments in this thread about Jewish influence over America, some Israelis see it as a tool of the US to influence and exert control over Israel thus making the relationship unequal.
As the costs to Israel of U.S. aid have skyrocketed over the past decade, the benefits of the relationship to the U.S. have only grown larger. Aid is popular with key voting blocs (few of them Jewish). It functions as a lucrative backdoor subsidy to U.S. arms makers, and provides Congress and the White House with a tool to leverage influence over a key strategic ally. The Israeli military, often ranked as the fourth-most powerful in the world, has become an adjunct to American power in a crucial region in which the U.S. has lost the appetite for projecting military force. Israeli intelligence functions as America’s eyes and ears, not just in the Middle East but in other key strategic theaters like Russia and Central Asia and even parts of Latin America. Controlling access to the output of Israel’s powerful high-tech sector is a strategic advantage for the U.S. that alone is worth many multiples of the credits Israel receives. Meanwhile, the optics of bringing the snarling Israeli attack dog to heel helps credential the U.S. as a global power that plays fair—but must also be feared.
It’s no wonder that one well-known regional expert we consulted, who served in high security-related positions in the U.S. government, was horrified when we proposed ending American aid to Israel. When we asked which of our arguments were overstated or mistaken, this person answered: “None of them. But my job is to represent the American interest. Aid to Israel is the biggest bargain we have on our books. Ending it would be a disaster for us. I just don’t see who it benefits.”
We do. The alternative to this unequal relationship based on dependence is a more forthrightly transactional relationship, which would allow Israel to benefit economically, diplomatically, and strategically. It might also, we believe, diminish the current American infatuation with treating the Jewish state as a moral allegory in U.S. political psychodramas, rather than as a tiny country in the Middle East with its own local challenges and considerable advantages to offer the highest bidder. The current hyperpolarized atmosphere around Israel is not good for anyone—not for an America whose political class is looking to distract people from its own failings; not for a majority of the world’s Jews who live in Israel; and not for American Jews, who have come to identify their civic role with serving as props in an expiring piece of political theater. When the curtain comes down, they’ll find themselves without a role—and cut off from the 3,000-year-long Jewish historical continuum that is, or was, their inheritance.
Ending aid would not mean the end of the U.S.-Israeli military alliance, intelligence sharing, trade, or any mutual affinity between the countries. Rather, it would allow both sides to see what each is getting in return for what. In the words of retired IDF Major General Gershon Hacohen: “Once we are not economically dependent on them, the partnership can flourish on its own merits.”

Please stop repeating what you read on 4chan it's beyond dumb, simplistic and wrong.
See, this is what got me over the Bell Curve on wignats/"race realists" or whatever. It's not because I feel the need to defend Greatest Ally from Annuda Shoah, or because racism is le bad and mean.

It's because unironic online wignats are hands-down some of the most hopelessly obtuse retards I've ever bickered with. Hence, it's fun to play the part of JIDF just to make them seethe and mald.

Why isn't North Korea being attacked and awaiting upcoming invasion? Even though their rhetoric is at times much more extreme than what's coming out of Iran?
Because North Korea isn't about to give fucking muslims who hate the west nuclear weapons to win a bullshit holy war. North Korea just doesn't want to get invaded.

Why shouldn't Iran be allowed to have nuclear weapon capabilities? A ton of other sketchy nations have them.
Because if Iran gets them then saudi arabia will want them and then Egypt and Syria will want them etc etc. The likelyhood nukes get used only goes up the more people have them. Seriously assad and sadam used chemical weapons without a second thought. If you want to say anything about Indian and Pakistan having nukes (they shouldn't I don't trust them). You can be rest assured they are pointed only at each other and China.

It's kind of rhetorical though, since it's all about Israel wanting to be able to do whatever they want to in the Middle East, without the threat of mutually assured destruction.
Sorta. But also if any country gets nukes they will use it on Israel because the first country to destroy israel gets to be crown king of the muslims/arabs. For example look at all the love Nassar gets because they won a tank battle against Israel even though they LOST the war against Israel.
