Hypersonics is generally used to refer to weapons that are better referred to as Hypersonic Glide vehicles or Hypersonic Boost-Glide Vehicles. Hypersonic is a speed and reduces the time to react, as well as having some plasma effect, but can be achieved from a normal ballistic trajectory which is predictable and can be intercepted. The glide and boost-glide designs try to make it harder to kill by having it going at hypersonic speeds at lower altitudes and allowing for the munition to make less predictable maneuvers on its trajectory which complicates interception and makes it more likely to get through. Boost-glide would be a system with some sort of engine to help it maintain speed throughout its travel while a glide one would lose speed over range.

Edit: Boost-glide and glide are same thing, was thinking the Hypersonic Airbreathing Weapon Concept the US wants to make when mentioning engines.

It is completely insane to me that Iran as so fragile they crumbled in a few days to Israel. Yes, I am aware they could have many more ballistic missiles in waiting, ready to fire at Israel. But as of right now, Israel is flying fighter jets, drones, and bombers over Iran with impunity, bombing whatever they want when they want. If Iran was caapable of fighting off Israel, they would be doing so. Instead, they are allowing the SATANIC CABAL to fly over their skies and do whatever they want. That is not the behavior of a country that is capable of fighting back.

Also, the longer Iran waits to fire more missiles, more and more of their stockpiles and launchers will be located and destroyed by Israel. This is a case where the longer the war goes on, the worse and worse it gets for Iran. I don't see any way Iran ends up in a winning situation here.
