There is zero need to have American boots on the ground in Iran. It would make more sense to declare war on Mexico and Canada, not war on the other side of the planet.

I voted for trump three times, i've been pretty staunchy pro trump for a good while, you can look at most of my posts around the different political threads. If trump caves in and actually joins Israel in an offensive war against Iran, i hope he gets impeached adn removed and I hope his entire bloodline never knows peace.

I am against boots on the ground, although I’d be ok with us dropping a bunker buster or two. We already did that in Yemen, this isn’t any different. That being said Israel is a big country and they seem to have this handled themselves.

Trump '45 bombed Syria and Yemen, destroyed ISIS, and assassinated an Iranian general all without getting the U.S. involved in an Iraq or Afghanistan-style invasion of the Middle East. Even Trump '47's foreign policy has largely focused on containing conflicts (Ukraine) rather than pursuing the regime change strategies that Obama and Bush were known for. It's a wait-and-see situation. At the moment, it appears he will continue that trend, but that could change. At the moment, there's no sign of any deviation from that.

Him starting another foreign war 1 million times worse than the Iraq war will be the biggest foreign policy blunder in US history. Half of his base already is considering abandoning trump due to him fumbling this issue and they are most likely going to get utterly buttfucked in the midterms if that's the case. Almost to the point where nobody would even dream of voting republican again.
It's most likely political suicide.

Anti-ship ballistic missiles aren't cobbled together by fucking Jihad Cletus in his garage. Blow up the Iranian military-industrial complex, take out their nuclear program, and these problems go away. Forever. And if they try to build them again? You blow them up again.
