Looping back to the Jin/Retarded Production discussion: I think the biggest issue with the show is that production is just as mind broken by the show as the contestants.
Production stays online 24/7 reading retarded comments and watching the retarded fish with basically no breaks, and not only that, but they also seem to drink most of the nights and stay awake all night. That shit isn't good for your mental health.
On the day Jet decided to kick Jin, he had been awake at least until 6AM, was probably hungover or still drunk from the pizza party they had, and most likely had spend the entire night online reading retarded feedback from fans and fixating on the r9k comment Jin had made. It's no wonder he made a dumb and rushed decision.

I know that production being just as retarded as the fish is part of the charm of the show, Ben specially seems to have many great moments of just being a drunk asshole. But if they spent less time on the basement and more time sleeping, going for walks and sober, the show would probably turn out better.

I can't ever knock the scale of the show and the (until now) continual iteration and innovation they've had through the site. I think we can miss the forest for the trees when we're in the moment of watching, but they do need to find a way to take care of themselves while being involved and feeling part of it. FT is Jet's baby no matter how you slice it and i'm sure that's how he feels about it. This is also the only MDE product that he's headed and if I were an ugly little FREAK a slightly awkward online guy i'd prolly be on a hair trigger as well. Not saying that it's fine just me flexing my empathetic muscle.

I don't understand at all, first it was who can eat cheetos the fastest and Deranc started fisting her throat immediatly.
Then the same thing with cookies, but then Jet says audience voted Deranc the winner..... WHAT?

It was who can eat the messiest, not fastest. I don't know if purging counts as eating, personally, but I think in the context of fishtank it wins.
