I think it's a pretty genuine take that Iran's "reformists" tried too hard to pull Iran towards Europe thinking the West would act in good faith, forgetting that the Neocons and Neolibs of the Western Establishment have the Hostage Crisis as like, their first major defining foreign policy moment which has caused them to autistically Reeee about Iran for decades. This attempt at a pro-EU stance has sort of left Iran in the lurch in regards to China and Russia and meant that they also threw their "allies" to the wolves, like Hez and Assad.

Here's the truth: Iran is infiltrated by traitors, the same ones who killed Raisi. Iran's reformists are part of the wealthy oligarchical class that controls Iran's economy, and has all their money tied up by sanctions. They want that money at all costs. They sold out everyone for it. These guys have been agents of the CIA in Iran since 1979. The Islamic Republic ideology is dead. It dismissed Marxist "materialism" and was completely blind to the reality of class forces.

Class dynamics are the sole reason that:

• Traitors sold out the resistance, to protect their wealth
• Bashar was so hugely unpopular, because his father's entire strategy was uniting the bourgeois and other elites, halting Jadid's popular land reforms, thus failing to acquire a reliable basis in the majority.
• The Axis has been so hesitant to engage in all out war - their bourgeois had too much to lose.
• Yemeni's showed so much courage, they had basically nothing to lose. Everyone should take note and learn the lessons of what happened. The proletarian dictatorship is the only reliable form of state power for confronting and resisting imperialism.

The 'resistance' led by the 'Islamic Republic,' has proven to be weak, pathetic and ineffectual. Compare them to China during the Korean War, who risked the nuclear annihilation of the planet.
