Any outcome that violates the left's religious view of the world -- that everyone is a fungible people-unit -- must be a moral failing on your part. Period. I could probably tolerate the US bombing Iran. Our enemies will blame us for what Israel is doing regardless. At least right now there is some pressure to not put boots on the ground. Part of me feels we should just get it over with now before conditions change and the war ghouls find an excuse to get US soldiers into Iran.

Remember, a core religious value of the left is that any outcomes that are not perfectly in line with demographic numbers -- because sex and race and culture are not real and thus all people are inherently fungible people-units that can be swapped around at will -- is evidence of racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry. That's only superficial for them; the evidence is they don't spend any time calling the NBA racist, or teaching sexist; the demographics of those fields would allow it easily. Their true core value is hatred for white men.

This is a different matter though. It’ll start as bombings and when that doesn’t work they’ll convince Trump that “we just need to give them a liiiitle push!” Or find some proxy, terrorist group that needs “protection”.

Before you know it, what started as “Israelnis doing all the work, we just need to help them a teeny, tiny bit!” Will end up with boots on the ground and another regime change clusterfuck that they’ll keep doubling down on.

I've said this before, but the reason israel hates trump is that trump is taking them 100% at their word that israel is America's ally, not a puppet that jumps at the word go. he expects them to do normal ally things like listen to each other and have mutual respect, take constructive criticism, so on and so forth; not do exactly what israel tells them to do unquestioningly before then taking the blame for the repercussions.
