"Juneteenth" is such a dumb name for the holiday.

• The name does not clarify which day of the 13th to 19th it is.
• One can't tell the meaning of the holiday from the name alone.
• "Juneteenth"? Really? Sounds like a thing little kids made up.

And that is not getting into how it seems the day was "astroturfed" into prominence for "social justice" after the George Floyd riots.

Juneteenth is basically entirely made up. It alleges to be based on some sort of regional emancipation that southern blacks celebrate but I googled it pretty extensively and couldn't find any evidence whatsoever that it was a thing or anyone actually celebrated it prior to 2020.

Where have I advocated heavy involvement? I'm not sure if I posted it here or the dedicated thread but I'm only on board with the deep underground strikes for mop-up duty. That's not starting a war or even going to war really since IMO the war is all but over already. Without some massive W's Iran's regime won't last a month and they seem to lack the capability for any W's.
