The last time it happened the vet told her to come back for regular nail trims and she couldn't be bothered. And she was home for like 3 weeks living in the same apartment with BBJ and watched her hobble around on those painful nails and did nothing until the day before she was going to be rehomed, hoping the new owner would handle it.
