Most of the people who voted for "America First" were Israel-supporters. Every last one I've met in person is.
I'll say this again. If you firmly believe that Donald Trump, a NYC real estate developer, would not kowtow to Israel if given the opportunity to, you are incredibly gullible and completely detached from reality.

That's the dream for most Dems, but I highly doubt it. The isolationists among Trump's base are a loud, but small minority; and his larger Evangelical base all believe Israel and the Jews are their allies. They've been chomping at the bit to take out Iran. Not too long ago, Trump even planned to take Gaza. Granted, the latter plan fell apart, but there's a reason he proposed something like that in the first place: because most of his followers would be for it.

The average American isn't MAGA, but the average MAGA is pro-Israel.

Speaking of mass deportations, just take a look at the guy masterminding the deportation scheme on Trump's right hand: Stephen Miller. A Jew. Do you think someone like Miller would be OK leaving Israel to fend for itself against a potentially nuclear Iran? Or would he not use his voice to support Trump's plans for Israel?
half of trump's campaign was him saying if you vote for Harris we'll be in a war by the end of the year. it's part of why so many independents and former democrats voted for him, he wasn't a George Bush style war monger. getting into a prolonged hot war with Iran would at minimum be a disaster politically for the republicans in the midterms and the next presidential election, not to mention it would fracture the base and open the door back for the neocons to wiggle their way back to power in the republican party.

The only way it wouldn't be an optics disaster is if we got 9/11 2 electric falseflagaroo to justify it preemptively, but even then I think a large portion of the country would just say it's isreal doing it and want to stay out of whatever war springs up.

Ok, so why don't we invade North Korea if they have nukes?
Oh that's very simple. Why? Because the North Koreans are a cult worshipping one family and man through military might dictatorship.

Iran is a death worshipping cult who has become hellbent on ushering in the coming of the Imam Mehdi through the spilling of the blood of the infidels via jihad. They manipulate the self flagellating sinners into bypassing the normal method of redemption through their religion into believing jihad is the only way to achieve martyrdom into Heaven. So that when the Ayatollah does spill enough blood of the infidels and cause the Twelfth Imam to appear and usher in the end of the days, the dead will rejoin the living and face judgement. Those who died during the course of Jihad will then inherit the New World. Or, I'm not Muslim so maybe I'm wrong, and the Ayatollah himself is preaching that he's the Twelfth Imam and is preparing to usher in the Anti-Christ and the return of Prophet Isa his God damned self. They have no problem spilling the blood of innocents to do this because it's irrelevant to them because the dead are meant to rejoin the living and face judgement together at the end of their jihad anyway. He has promised this to his people and followers though, just like the previous Ayatollah.

Either way, yeah kind of a big fucking difference.

Its pretty pathetic he has to ask that question in the first place of any of his people. Do you want crazy Islamic fundamentilsts to have the atomic bomb? "but what about North Korea?" Brother, that is their insurance policy against invasion. What is the purpose of Iran having nukes? To attack, and give out to their proxies. Reminder that these fuckers have attacked our ships, kidnapped our diplomats, and killed our men.

You assume it will be prolonged. Lol no.

All of North Korea's infrastructure is militarized and built with the expectation that the US will invade. When everything is bunkerized, attacking is difficult. On top of this, China supports North Korea and an invasion of North Korea would necessitate China getting into the mix - not a pleasant scenario. On top of that, North Korea does have a ton of conventional munitions and could level South Korea in a matter of hours, not to mention serious damage they could do to Japan. This does not even get into the clean-up and the humanitarian crisis. There are 26 million people in North Korea and a fuckload of them are already starving. It's one giant layer cake of shit.

The easy answer is they don't have oil (although they do have mountains full of minerals and rare-earth metals just sitting there). The actual answer is their weapons are made of papier-mâché and duct tape, and probably have less functional nuclear material than a glow-in-the-dark plastic watch.

“When you break the law by coming here illegally and then threaten and assault federal officers on top of that, you’re a threat.” - ICE Director Todd Lyons
Not a bad start but I want this Overton window to push much further.
How about:
"When you break the law coming here illegally you're a threat.
When you threaten and assault federal officers on top of that you're an enemy combatant"

North Korea also seems content on staying on its side of the DMZ at the moment. Sometimes it gets rocky, but generally they just sit there. Sometimes shoot a rocket over the ocean, but that's about it. The incentive to invade is very little when they don't do much.

You know, if you throw in some sandnigger zombies, this would be an interesting plot for a new Resident Evil game.

China has a leash on North Korea and that is what stops North Korea from doing anything too crazy. Iran does not have a handler.

For the same reason why America never invaded or attacked directly the USSR in the Cold War. Even if there's a possibility of all North Korea's nukes are fake or broken, it's still not worth to risk of D.C getting glassed just to fight for one of the worst shitholes on earth Best Korea

The moment any of these "rouge states" give up their nuclear weapons, they get carved up by America and NATO. Gaddafi gave up his nukes and as a reward he got sodomized with a rusty knife to death

There is that too. China keeps them from starving too much and generally enables diplomatic channels at times when NK is being asshole. Iran is on their own.
