The modus operandi is simply: "whichever country or group my side (america, whites, men, straight) is being mean to, wave that country's flag and call it perfect and defend it and say it's better than ours". It's not done out of kindness but fear. These people get through life by surrendering and being non confrontational of anything irrational that might physically harm them, but they're fine attacking groups that they actually respect enough to know we won't chimp out and kill them.
Criminals are just people trying to get by, "take what you need! it's okay i'll manage!" Even wild animals they will make excuses for, "you shouldn't have gone into its habitat!!
