Grazing is not in any way exclusive to Europeans and owning flocks of dairy producing animals and having them graze existed before civilization or written language. To claim such a practice was originally exclusive to Europeans is entirely ahistorical. The earliest known domestication of dairy-producing animals (in this case goats) occurred 11,000 years ago in the Fertile Crescent. The first cows were domesticated in the same region at a later date too.

I get that cow grazing is most common in the Americas/Europe though and thus all milk in those cultures is associated with cows. In East Africa most milk is sourced from goats and camels although there's still a sizeable cow population.
