Whoopi Goldberg Believes Black People In America Suffer The ‘Same’ Abuses As Women, Gay People In Iran

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg suggested on Wednesday that America treats black people just as badly as Iran treats its own citizens.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin highlighted the human rights abuses that occur in Iran, particularly towards women and gay people. Goldberg argued that black and gay Americans have endured the same kinds of abuses in the U.S. that those in Iran experience.

“The Iranians literally throw gay people off of buildings. They don’t adhere to basic human rights,” Griffin said.

“Well here’s the thing. Let’s not do that because if we start with that, we have been known in this country to tie gay folks to the car. Listen, I’m sorry. [Americans] used to just keep hanging black people,” Goldberg said, prompting Griffin to say that’s not equivalent. “Oh wait, wait, wait. That’s not what you mean to say, it is the same.”

Griffin argued that women, gay people and other American citizens do not experience the abuses that Iranians endure, which made Goldberg visibly exasperated.

“The year 2025 in the United States is nothing like if I stepped foot wearing this outfit in Tehran right now,” Griffin said. “I can’t have my hair showing, I can’t wear a skirt, I can’t have my arms out.”

“And that’s why I am saying that it is the same. Murdering someone for their difference is not good whoever does it. It’s not good,” Goldberg said.

Since 1979, a woman has been required by law to wear a hijab and can face fines, imprisonment and even flogging for violating the rule. Iranian law does not criminalize marital rape and provides exemptions for husbands, fathers and grandfathers who assault or kill a female relative, including in the name of “honor,” according to Impact Iran.

In some cases, Iran enforces the death penalty if same-sex couples engage in consensual sex and forces people to undergo torturous “conversion therapy,” according to Iran Human Rights. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif publicly endorsed the execution of gay people in 2019, stating that his country has “moral principles.”

So leave. You have money and can live comfortably in any other country on the planet.

And while we're on the subject all kinds of people got lynched, not just black. Whites, Hispanics, Jews, Chinese all ended up at the end of the rope. And there hasn't been a lynching in the U.S. since 1981. 44 years. I think we can safely say the days of strange fruit being found in trees is behind us.

Nowhere in America will you receive a government sanctioned beating for what you are wearing. We don't throw gays off of roofs. This is not the same thing as what goes on in the US. In Iran you have no choice but to follow the rules or face the consequences. In the US hate crimes are not committed by the government. They are committed by unhinged individuals who will be prosecuted. If a woman in Iran bravely goes out without hijab she will be punished. There are decency police roaming the streets looking for stray hairs and bare ankles. Whoopi should be thanking God she wasn't born in such a place.

Niggers, being too stupid to understand per capita, think that if you just point out that someone once got lynched 60 years ago, slam dunk, you've proved your point and no one can disagree with whatever it is.

She belongs to one of the most privileged groups in the world: overpaid entertainers. This reminds me of the black guy wearing a Rolex who said he was worse off than homeless white men. These people have no self-awareness.
They demand understanding without being able to ever understand another.

Remember last year when Whoopi made a big stink about how she had just been a victim of anti-black discrimination, because a bakery refused to fill her cupcake order? & she blamed Trump's election win on it, claiming Trump's win emboldened white supremacists to discriminate against blacks?

...than it turned out said bakery just had a flood & was shut down? 🤣 Kiwi Farms remembers.
