God bless you all, don’t give up on your entire life. You all have lots of good memories to reminisce and a good future ahead of you. Depression is one son of a bitch, and I can strongly relate to Cats as I almost wanted to kill myself and in the darkest spots of my mental illness.

Even if I do have mild learning difficulties, being schizoid, mentally unstable (maybe autistic?) and have immense amount of self-doubt and dealing with inner turmoil, I learned and improved myself and overcome my tumultuous times.

Even if you’re mentally ill, or dealing with multitudes of challenges, you all can do it. Let’s all love Cats and send prayers to him.

I'm still kind of finding it hard to believe and processing everything but something last night did have me tear up a bit. Just thinking about how the remaster/whatever of Final Fantasy Tactics being announced would have been a huge deal to him as he loved the game, and how little he missed it by. Not that I think it would have changed anything, but it sucks he'll never get to play it.

Only the good die young. The one benefit may be that the good who are suffering are at least self-aware that others care for them unlike the lolcows and faggots of this world who lie to themselves that they're loved.

Because the obituary and notes don't mention any sort of accident or crime and seem purposefully vague which from my experience is how they tend to handle suicides, and he had been dealing with extreme depression for most of the almost 20 years I knew him up to and including wishing he was dead on more than one occasion.

Cats was one of the kindest people I've ever talked to on this forum. Just a really sweet person who no one ever had a bad thing to say about. I remember hanging out in chat and I'd ask him for a specific type of cat and he'd post a photo of it in the chat within like 30 seconds. Rest in peace dude!

This news hurts. I’m just a long time lurker/reader of the farms, so I’ve never interacted with Cats, but I would’ve picked him as my favorite user. His posts and threads never failed to make me laugh. I always looked forward to seeing what he’d come up with next.

You could tell he had a really unique creative capacity, despite his cat edits and stuff being silly/shitposty. He felt so original in the best way and made the whole forum a more fun and interesting place.
