Escort missions can be done well, and QTEs don't bother me if not difficult. Trial & error just inherently sucks.Escort missions...wait for it.....with QTE events.
Escorting Myers at the beginning of the Phantom Liberty DLC in Cyberpunk 2077, as a case in pointEscort missions can be done well
Monster Hunter Rise is my first and so far my only MH game, i fucking love it so far and i havent even touched the expansion yet. One time i went online to read up on where to gather certain mats i needed and apparently the game has a generally negative reception, something about how it "doesn't even get good" until you reach Sunbreak. Hell, i kept reading about how i shouldn't get used to Rise because the other games are so much more different or something as wellFire Emblem Engage is superior to Fire Emblem Three Houses (ignore the irony of my avatar). Monster Hunter Rise is superior to Monster Hunter World.
Rise is very much a more “arcadey” style of game than most of the others. World is intended as a big cinematic AAA game with a focus on exploring the environment, and most of the pre-world games have basically negative QoL and are designed to be punishing. Can’t comment on where Wilds falls because I haven’t played it yet. Rise is very much a “go in, hit the monster, feel cool doing it” sort of game, very punchy and fast-paced.Monster Hunter Rise is my first and so far my only MH game, i fucking love it so far and i havent even touched the expansion yet. Stuff like that makes me not wanna try the rest of the games tbh
Might be the best escort mission I’ve played. And this is coming from someone who loathes escort missions.Escorting Myers at the beginning of the Phantom Liberty DLC in Cyberpunk 2077, as a case in point
That's because Myers is both essential and actually pretty combat capable as npcs go.Might be the best escort mission I’ve played. And this is coming from someone who loathes escort missions.
Ah, reminds me of some GTA TBoGT missions with Gay Tony.Might be the best escort mission I’ve played. And this is coming from someone who loathes escort missions.
Two nogs don't make a white. Stealing a nigger game just makes you a coal-black gorilla nigger.Buying the latest FIFA(TM) or Pro Evolution Soccer(TM) or Football Manager(TM) for the Playstation(R) on release is a clear telltale of a nigger to me
Or the latest Call of Duty(TM) or Battlefield(TM)
I don't think anybody here is advocating for shopliftingTwo nogs don't make a white. Stealing a nigger game just makes you a coal-black gorilla nigger.

Nah, Rothbard actually believed in trademarks, that's one of the few things he was inconsistent on"Ackshually, it's not stealing because according to Chapter 7 of Murray Rothbards' Man, Economy, and State..."
Trial & error is good game design.
I can't think of worse game design.

There's many works by Kinsella that are much more in line with proper ethics in that regard, such as Against Intellectual Property or You Can't Own Ideas: Essays on Intellectual Property
It’s backward compatibility with modern Xboxes. Does that count?Love me some Viva Piñata. It's absurd they never put it in modern consoles. It'd be cool if it was put on other consoles now that Xbox is putting games on stuff now.
That’s where I’m at for emulation. I don’t care your reasons for emulation. There’s a purpose from it of preservation.I pirate games because they're not worth the asking price. Those that are I will pay for and their sequels too.
The other reason is because there are no fucking demos anymore. There are cool looking games that turn out shit and shit looking games that turn out to be cool. I want to find the hidden gems, but I'm not paying 60 quid a throw to do so.
