The real lesson to learn is either commit to getting nukes or don't bother having enrichment at all. Pakistan and NK got away with going all in while Iraq and Libya tipped their hand and got taken out. There is no going back from developing nukes, and Iran learned this the hard way.

Not even a bunker buster can take out a mountain. They had intelligence reports before all of this where they agreed that only a nuke could maaaybe take it out.

And what exactly would prevent the Iranians from just digging even deeper next time? Now that it’s obvious that they do need a nuke to protect themselves.

They already started from scratch once, after all.
