China still wants to take over the US, but they became smart and antagonize us on economic, and military issues. Trump just nuked any chance the GOP had of holding the house/senate in the midterms by starting another war in the ME.
75% of the MAGA base will go along with it but a lot of people are going to feel stabbed in the back by this and just not show up for him. The margins are so thin he needs every single vote to hold it and continue his domestic agenda.

The deportations are going to continue to be bogged down by the rando judges everywhere and then be all done when the Democrats retake the house and Senate.
