I voted for Trump but God damn the brainless retards cheering this on are embarrassing to be lined up next to. I'll probably just not vote in the midterms if this turns into a real war but a lot of other more moderate independents who can still stomach pulling the lever for a Democrat will straight vote against you. And before you start with the "it's only air strikes, he did them before" bullshit I'll just say, I hope you are right but here is some questions. Have you ever considered that maybe escalation at this point is in the supreme leaders interest? Maybe they know they can't do shit in an air war but if they can draw us into a land war they will have easy access to a lot of Americans they can kill? Maybe they are thinking they could kill enough to break morale back home? Maybe they are thinking that an invasion would sure up the support of their divided population and create a patriotic frenzy that could outlast the Americans and get them to leave in an embarrassing spectacle like Saigon or Afghanistan. Here's the crazy one, even if that whole escalate to a real war and try to out last America plan only has a 10% chance of working, what if the supreme leaders thought he had a 0% chance of surviving any other course of action? Well all the mother fucker has to do is start striking one of the many many US assets in the reign. It's like people are incapable of gaming out a theory of mind for anyone who isn't white.
